Jesus Anoints

After He was baptized and tempted by the enemy, the first teaching Jesus said publicly was the “Spirit of the Lord” passage found in Luke 4:18-19.
Jesus was in his hometown of Nazareth, in the synagogue, as was His custom. He stood up and read from Isaiah (61:1-2).
After reading it, He sat down and said: “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing” (Luke 4:21). The Scripture contains glorious, supernatural promises. The story is found in Luke 4:16-21.

Jesus the Man was Anointed

A revelation is that Jesus, the Son of God and God, became a man, and the Holy Spirit anointed Him.
God, the Holy Spirit, anointed God, Jesus Christ.
Jesus became what we are, a human, so that we could become what He is . . . sons and daughters of God . . . a child of God.
